Summary

Functional capacity evaluations are used in many legal cases to determine functional ability, to assess client effort, and to determine the level of impairment. Unfortunately, there is no standardization for this type of examination and many different systems and processes are used resulting in controversy in the overall effectiveness. Too often, the evaluations are not performed by credentialed professionals and provide inaccurate results which in some cases can be even damaging to a legal case. The objective of this webinar is to better under the FCE process and most importantly understand what constitutes a good FCE. By the end of the seminar, you will be able to better understand what to ask for when requesting an FCE and when an FCE should be used and should not be used. In addition, you will also be able to better examine the results of the FCE and potential pitfalls that may be present in a poor FCE.
