This presentation will provide nuts and bolts information on how to run your own focus group – from recruiting participants, to finding space, to paying them. Sami and Matt will discuss planning your focus group presentation, techniques for getting the best information possible, and deciphering the information obtained. Attendees will be provided with forms and samples of focus group documents. Creative uses of focus groups will be discussed and demonstrated. Excerpts from actual focus group sessions will be used to help demonstrate the good, the bad and the ugly.

NATA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP CELEBRATION RECEPTION AND DINNER (Black Tie Optional)
Join your colleagues at NATA’s Annual Membership Celebration Reception and Dinner the evening before the seminar. The reception and dinner will be held on Thursday, September 23 at the Happy Hollow Country Club, 1701 S. 105th St., Omaha. The reception is at 6:30 p.m., dinner is at 7:30 p.m. Reservations are $85.00 per person. ONLINE RESERVATIONS
NATA ANNUAL MEETING & FALL SEMINAR REGISTRATION FEES: The registration fee is $250.00 for non-members. The discounted registration fee for NATA members is $195.00. Registration fees are the same for both the live seminar at the Scott Conference Center and the Live Webinar. The seminar registration fee includes lectures, electronic course materials, and payment for registrants’ Nebraska MCLE credit.
For those attending in person, masks may be required for all registrants, depending on the circumstances at the time of the seminar.
The written materials for NATA’s seminar will be in electronic format and will be available on NATA’s website prior to the seminar. A reconfirmation of registration with a link to the materials will be e mailed 3 days in advance of the seminar to all those who preregistered. For those registering to attend by live webinar, the reconfirmation of your registration will also include a link and instruction to join the webinar.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Refunds in full will be made if cancellations are received by September 17, 2021. After that date there will be an administrative fee charged for late cancellation.
TAX DEDUCTION: Educational expenses, including registration fees, hotel and travel expenses are deductible if the course aids or improves in maintaining educational skills. (See Treasury reg. 1-162-5)
